The Poe Overtures

about

This is intended to be a monthly series and features symphonic overtures inspired by the writings of Edgar Allan Poe. It was one of my resolutions for 2012 to compose at least one piece a week. And, without the benefit my own concert hall and orchestra to perform my pieces on a regular basis, I will present full symphonic works here. It's a little break from the norm that you are probably use to hearing on Bandcamp or any of the music sites. Modern Classical or Art music is alive and well; you can hear the works of many talented composers on the web currently. It's an exciting time to be a composer. Next Up: The Fall of the House of Usher.
